Poem : A Prayer

18 Jun

When nothing seems to be working right,

Just join your hands and hold them tight,

Bend your knees and pray all night,

And see how Lord helps you win the fight.

With humility I bow my head,

For I know my prayers won’t go unheard,

Unanswered and unreturned.

My faith in fate,

Will open new gates

And as I cry, I know for sure,

God listens to the prayers of hearts so pure.

Thank you Lord for the life so bright,

I’m nothing, just nothing, in front of your might.

Just be with me all the time,

And guide me to the path of sublime.

I accept my meekness in front of your glory,

And for all errors, I am deeply sorry!
