This has become popular among the women in Pakistan. People are going for different designs, with gorgeous colors and matching them with cigarette pants to top off the look. It is not just trendy but pretty stylish as well.

We all love makeup, don’t we? We not only spend plenty of time on shopping for cosmetics of our choice but also to find the right product of the right kind. However, the most important part of the face are the eyes. We all want to try one thing or the other with our eyes in order to stand out in the crowd. Sometimes we even stumble upon tons of tutorials which would help beautify our eyes. However, trends keep changing every day. Currently, Smokey Eyes are the ‘in’ thing among women of all age groups. As difficult as it may seem, it is actually very easy to create the smokey effect. Product Review: LUX Sweet Embrace Body Wash

20 Apr

Hey ya! Time for another quick review. Yesterday I bought this fragranced body wash by LUX. This is actually my first body wash by LUX as previously I have always used Dove, Nivea or Body Shop ones. It is called Sweet Embrace and as claimed it does have a long-lasting and alluring fragrance. Enriched with fragrance pearls of passion flower and vanilla oil, this body wash is an orange coloured liquid which makes enough lather with a small quantity. It made my skin soft and left behind a pleasant smell after the first use. However, people who prefer mild smell may find it a bit strong. I got this 500ml bottle for around SAR 22. I am liking it so far but the Nivea one remains my absolute favorite.

I’d love to hear your suggestions. Do tell me which body wash products do you like.

Hello pretty ladies! I hope y’all having a great day. Today I am doing a short review on triple silk body oil mist from the Pink Chiffon collection of Bath & Body Works. I bought its 8oz. bottle for around $20. I use if often to spray all over the body after shower and it makes my skin soft and silky along with leaving behind a heavenly smell. It works as a great moisturizer which is not at all greasy. Lately, I have started using it to give silky effect to my makeup. Just like a makeup setting spray, I spray it on my face and it does wonders. My makeup looks dewy and stays on for a long time without sweating or greasiness.

What other body oil mists have you used? Do share with me 🙂

Creative Uses of Old Nail Polishes

31 Mar

Hello readers! It’s been a long time since I posted something. I had been super busy with my domestic life and taming my troublesome almost-two years old brat 😀 Now I am back to sanity and I hope to interact with you all more often.

Today, I want to talk about some creative uses of old nail enamels. If you are somebody like me who hates throwing away stuff, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this post. So, read on!

1) As an adhesive. No need to panic if you run out of glue. Just apply a thin layer of clear nail enamel on the edges of an envelop flap and seal it easily. Voila! You are done.

2) As paint. You may use old nail enamels to add color to your boring jewelry pieces such as plain necklaces or bracelets or even to your phone case. Just don’t forget to apply a clear top coat for protection and shine. You may also paint your hair pins and clips with different nail polishes for a creative look.

3) As identifiers. This is what I mostly use my old nail polishes for, especially when I am travelling. I apply a different nail color to each lock and key pair so that it gets easier to identify.

4) As jewelry protectants. I am a huge fan of imitation jewelry. Sadly, even the most expensive pieces often last for a year to two before turning green. In fact, sometimes I develop a rash from them, especially rings and necklaces. Now, I have found a simple solution (you may thank me later 😀 ). Just apply one or two coats of clear nail enamel on those parts of your jewelry which are in contact with skin and let it dry. You may also apply clear nail polish to jewelry with small crystals. It’ll prevent them from falling off.

These are just a few hacks using old nail enamels. If you have any other creative use then please share with me and my readers.
