All our lives we keep running after something. It could be a dream, money or some person. We are so busy chasing things and looking at the bigger picture that we fail to notice the small yet pertinent details of our lives. A mother’s care, a toddler’s giggle, a friend’s trust, a partner’s shoulder, claps, cheers, fun, laughters, sobs, nature’s beauty and so much more. We wish to conquer the world yet forget that we all have our own little worlds that deserve more attention and love. We strive for success yet fail to understand that success is not about running after something and acquiring it. Its about being satiated, at the same time, not being complacent to achieving more. We have all come very far in our respective lives. We have achieved a lot. But are we actually successful? Do we enjoy what we do? Are we satisfied with our lives and our own self? Can we boast of peace of mind? You cannot be happy unless you make the people around you happy, can you? You don’t have to go through an extra mile just to put up a smile on your loved ones’ faces. A little care, a little attention, a little time and a little smile are what they deserve. Is it too much to ask for? I hope not. Lets just steal a few moments from our busy lives and think about what will matter to us on our death beds. A million dollar worth business or the company of our sincere friends and loving family? I’ll leave it on you to decide.
